Now…I could have sworn Young Jeezy and Gucci Mane ended their beef. Obviously their entourages did NOT get the memo!

I was just saying the other day that I was waiting on Yo Gotti’s “Women Lie, Men Lie” video and here it is. The video premiered on Vevo and features Lil Wayne with a cameo from Birdman. This is most definitely a hot look for Gotti and I hope he gets the props he deserves for this smash single and for all the hard work that he’s put into his career. I’m sure a lot of rappers are going to hop on the remix. It’ll be interesting to see who.

Now, I’m on the lookout for his anticipated album, Live From The Kitchen, which is supposed to be released either this month or next month. Best believe, I’ll keep you posted.

Here’s DJ Paul ft/Miscellaneous video for “Gimme Yayo” as well as Juicy J ft/Lil Wyte video for “Stupid High”. As you know, they both have solo projects but are planning to release another album together sometime soon. I will have to get all of the details. Their music is starting to sound like that old Three 6 music that we all love. Good to see Memphis artists collaborating. Juicy J tweeted that in 2010, he’s going to put Memphis on the map by working with everybody. We’ll see, Juicy J.

Whoever has been praying for Lil Wayne…is one TRUE prayer warrior!

Lil Wayne is NOT going to jail today. It seems that there had been a fire in the basement of the courthouse today, which caused cancellations of all hearings. Lil Wayne is a free man for at least another day…

This comes after his stint with the law on weapon possession and marijuana that was found on his tour bus about a year ago… He was to have been jailed earlier, but he was able to postpone it, due to needing a dental visit first. He was reported to have 8 root canals. While he was planning to start jail with little notice of sentencing, he and his label went on to try to get out as many appearances (songs, videos, etc) as possible as well as a documentary of the days leading to his scheduled appointment to serve in jail. 8 days before he was scheduled to go to jail, He had started his own Twitter account.

What a GREAT way to be innovative! Plus….this is so sweet! DJ Wonder created a mixtape in Guru’s honor! It has all of the legend’s greatest verses!
