Hip Hop 4 Haiti Food & Clothing Drive: Memphis Edition
January 30th is National Hip Hop for Haiti Day! There are 32 cities across the United States hosting their own Hip Hop for Haiti drive to help the citizens of Haiti. They are accepting donations, food, clothing and anything that you can give in support of our brothers and sisters in Haiti after the tragic events that have taken place over the last couple of weeks. This event was thought of by Queen YonasDa LoneWolf, an activist, writer, rapper, and National Director of the Indigenous Nations Alliance-Millions More Movement. According to the Tri-State Defender, Memphis local celebrities such as Three 6 Mafia, Drumma Boy, Carlos Brody, 8 Ball MJG, and others have agreed to participate in this event.
Hip Hop 4 Haiti in Memphis will be on Saturday, January 30th at the Stax Museum from noon until 7pm. Come out and show your support as we unite to help those who can’t help themselves. This event is being sponsored by Xpoz Magazine, BEA inc, Peace Fest, Dominion Harvest, Christian Church,Veteran’s Hospital’s Black Employment Program, Millions More Movement and the Institute of the Black World.
