…What I thought to be a rumor is true! P. Diddy is on Waka Flocka’s “O Let’s Do It” remix! I still can not believe it! He’s totally out of his element…. and I LOVE IT! He talks about how so many people have “swagger-jacked” his style over the past years, and he’s visibly upset. He get’s RAW! This should make em’ think twice before mimicking the Mogul! Take That!

You couldn’t stop him if you tried. The King of Memphis just released his video “Touchdown”, a single from his Cocaine Muzik 4 mixtape with Zed Zilla and hosted by DJ Drama. In this video, he keeps it sooo Memphis with scenes from the Bay (Frayser) and popular night club, Level II.
I really like this video and this song. They just keep getting better and better. Real good look Gotti…a real good look!
Concrete Magazine’s Class of 2010 Honoree….SKEWBY!
I must admit that mixtapes like this are the reason that I began to get into the underground music scene in the first place. (along with the minimal utility of popular mainstream songs that have life spans of three months.) Straying from the normal perception of raps ranging from guns, women and money, Skewby is the paragon of non-conformist emotional rap. His songs appeal to the everyday person (let’s face it, we all have problems). The producers are not UBER famous producers, but they make a big splash on this project. All of the tracks exhibit style and substance that a lot of people already appreciate & have truly missed in hip-hop!
Be sure to DL his latest mixtape “Proving You Wrong Since 88″

Waka Flocka shot? Known Atlanta rapper “Waka Flocka Flame” is said to have sustained gunshot wounds during a robbery yesterday. Reports state he was washing his car at a local car wash when a robber approached the rapper and demanded his jewelry. Of course, the request was denied and a scuffle that ended with gunshots. It’s actually ironic that the rapper who has so many allusions to guns in his name and albums has been shot twice during a robbery. Fortunately,he is not dead and only received gunshot wounds to the arm and shoulder. Since he is a G…we’re sure he’ll come out on top! We hope he fully recovers!
BUT until then here’s his latest single “O Let’s Do It” burning up southern airwaves…
Today, I salute Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. for his vision, his words, his actions and his sacrifices – including the ultimate action of giving his life for those beliefs and principals he so proudly and boldly fought for. In honor of Dr. King, I say here’s to FREEDOM, here’s to STANDING UP for what one believes in, here’s to EQUALITY and here’s to accepting each other with NO regard to another’s’ social or economic status, or ethnicity. We don’t want his life to be in vain. Let’s focus on making his “DREAM” our “REALITY”!
